Kathy Acero Pena

Kathy was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, and graduated from high school in New Jersey. Before joining Miranda, Magden & Miranda, Kathy worked in a non-profit legal organization in New Jersey, and in a private law firm in Los Angeles, CA. Kathy also volunteered at the Los Angeles Superior Court, assisting pro se litigants with their family law cases. Kathy has officially become a California State Bar Certified Law Student, allowing her to perform attorney-level work on legal matters under the supervision of the licensed attorneys at our firm. Kathy is a dedicated and effective advocate for our community of clients. Kathy enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the world, hiking, and snowboarding. Kathy is bilingual in English and Spanish.
